Jennifer S.K. Dudley

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Equity by Design Lab at Columbia Business School.

I study the ways identity moderates behavior in politics and organizations. My research is often motivated by underlying questions such as "why do some people get to behave that way, but not others" and "do organizations change their members or do members change organizations."

My research uses innovative research methods, especially quantitative approaches. My research questions often seek the causal effect of a variable on an outcome. To answer such questions, I use experiments and computational analysis of longitudinal text data.

I received my Ph.D. in Sociology from University of Notre Dame. My research has been funded by the National Science Foundation
